So it was a conclusion. I read it for closure on the series and was damn excited to do so, but I'm disappointed with this last book. There is nothing wrong with the writing other than a few grammatical errors. It just seemed off, Like the vibe was different from the first two books that I read in the series. I had read both books 1 & 2 several times, but have no burning desire to reread Obsidian Music. I can't pinpoint my issue with this book other than say maybe the authors head was in a different place while writing this book? It's a different formula. And I don't understand why the character who ultimately betrayed Elizabeth was chosen. It never felt right even after the explanation. It just seemed like "hey lets throw this in here at the end"! after everything had already been resolved. My main disappointment I think was that waiting a year for this book I had built up this grand finish and then it all just was like "what the heck is going on here? Where is all the cool times like book one and two"? Again the book was okay, I just expected great so don't get your hopes up to high with this one.Product details

Loving this series and love Beth I liked how she got more tough in this book a lot of action I do wish I was longer I hope to read more about her and her family
This author is amazing i loved this book its great and fast paced read with lots of action from start to finish i loved the characters of this story and the cross dressing part was so hilarious and unexpected i had tears rolling down my face and the twist at the end of who was involved with the kidnapping and attempted plots against the main characters was shocking i never would have guessed who it was. Its a great book thats well written and i hope she does a spin off series for the other characters in the book.
What a great series! I recently just discovered this author and I've loved her books so far. The characters are well developed and the storyline is interesting. The romance is wonderful. I'm so glad to see the conclusion to this series. I definitely recommend this book.
The perfect conclusion. Gave me everything I didn't even know I needed in this series!!! The series is fantastic!!! One of the best I've read in a long while!
It seemed a bit packed, rushed, compared to the languid long story of book 2, but just as fulfilling. I found myself sharing the incredibly fun story with my husband and I was surprised that he kept asking me for updates as I went thru all 3 books. Thank you for a great story and characters, I purchased the books and will definitely be reading them again!
Loved this series which surprised the heck out of me. I was turned off by the length (or lack of) the 1st book. My daughter talked me into reading it and I'm so glad she did. Reading about the Russian mafia also didn't particularly interest me. I was wrong. The author is a good story teller with a great imagination. My biggest complaint...please, please, please figure out the differences between there, their and they're. I also really loved her 1st three books of the Forever Evermore series. I did not like the 4th one at all (disliked the character a lot), so didn't read the rest of the series. She's an interesting author who appears able to write about a variety of genres. I'll definitely read more of her books.
This is the final book of the series and boy is it fantastic!! Of course there are a lot of very rotten and evil people in this story. I can say happily that most all of them are dead now. Elizabeth/Beth is literally put through Hell and back. Being pregnant with 3 babies and also being kidnapped does not bode well for her. Daniil loves this woman with all his heart, but being a Russian mob boss has placed her in harms way. But Beth is one determined woman and soon to be a mother. She will never give up and does everything in her power to right the situation. There are twists and turns and lots of shock at who is involved in her kidnapping and rescue. Heart stomping action, assassination attempts, fear, torture, planning, protection, justification, happiness and lots of love fill the pages of this book. A wonderful ending to a great series. I highly recommend The Lion Security Series.
